Vendakkai (Okra) poriyal:





Ingredients
  • Bhindi: ¼ kg
  • Chili powder :  1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds:  ½ tbsp
  • Urad dhal: ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves: few
  • Curd:  1 tbsp
  • Oil and salt:   as needed


  1. Chop the vendakkai
  2. Heat the oil pan, add mustard seeds, urad dhal, curry leaves, heat it till it pops up, then add vendakkai and stir fry
  3. Add the curd, to remove the thickness
  4. Once the stickiness is gone, then add chili powder, salt and saute well
  5. Once it is done switch off the flame, 

 Now bhindi is ready to jump into your plate.
